About me

I’m a Data Scientist currently completing my MSc in Information Studies (Data Science track) at the University of Amsterdam. My interests lie in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, and trustworthy AI systems.

My Master’s thesis focuses on Fairness-Aware Multimodal Transformer Modeling for Real-Time Student Attention Estimation, where I developed deep learning models combining visual and wearable sensor data to investigate both predictive performance and fairness across demographic groups.

Before my MSc, I worked as a Data Scientist in the consulting sector at EY and Grant Thornton, contributing to projects involving Large Language Models, information extraction, data analytics, and end-to-end AI solutions using technologies such as Python, LangChain, Docker, and Microsoft Azure.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science & Technology from the Athens University of Economics and Business, with major in Software Engineering and Data Science. My undergraduate thesis explored advancements in Natural Language Processing.

I have also contributed to academic research projects, including studies on Greek tourism through large-scale text analysis, applying sentiment analysis and topic modeling techniques to extract insights from thousands of international and Greek press articles.
